Anyone wishing to subdivide property or transfer a parcel to an adjoining property owner should have a survey or prepare a plan and then present that to the Planning Commission for their review, comments and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. The members must be given a copy of said plans 10 days prior to a meeting. Contact the office for addresses and/or telephone numbers of the Planning Commission members. The plan should also be sent to the Township Engineer for closure review and to the Carbon County Planning Commission for their review. Once the Planning Commission approves the plan, it must be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for their review and approval. After the board approves the plan, any sewage planning module must be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for their review and approval. After that, the Township Secretary makes arrangements for the Township Solicitor to record the plan.
